Setra Group
Background
Setra Group AB was a result of the merging of AssiDomän and Mellanskog Industrier. The bringing together of two well known brands required a new name and visual identity that was evocative of what they produce.
Solution
The name Setra was created by combining the Swedish words ’se’ (see or notice) and ’trä’ (wood). SE is also the international abbreviation for Sweden. The Setra name reflects the company’s livelihood, its Swedish heritage along with its strong association with producing environmentally friendly products. The logo is a distinctive graphic in the form of an abstract cross section of wood.
Setra Group now holds the top position in the manufacture of wood products in Europe with over 5.5 billion SEK turnover per year.
